The students, who missed their alma mater, were in a working mood on the first day of school.

On Monday, February 8, St. Petersburg Mining University returned to its traditional mode of learning. The corresponding order was signed back in late January by Rector Vladimir Litvinenko.

In the teaching community, the news of the resumption of full-time education was received with optimism. After all, the distance format has leveled the possibility of practical and laboratory classes, as well as made training simulators, which play a prominent role in the educational process, inaccessible. That is, in fact, turned it into a profanation.

The university observes the preventive measures recommended by Rospotrebnadzor, in particular, there is non-contact body temperature control at the entrance, hand disinfection devices are installed in common areas, and masking and social distancing are mandatory.
