Mining University suspends educational and consulting activities

Rector Vladimir Litvinenko at an online meeting on December 2 with heads of departments and deans of the university, due to the deteriorating epidemiological situation in St. Petersburg, demanded from them to strictly comply with the order of the Minister of Education and Science Valery Falkov № 1402 of 11.11.2020 and his order № 1596 of 13.11.2020 and to strengthen measures to counter the pandemic.

In this connection, from 00:00 o'clock on December 5 to prohibit educational and consulting activities related to the stay of students who have not switched to an individual form of education on the territory of educational buildings. The access of students to the territory of educational buildings is completely stopped.

Corresponding services have been ordered to strengthen control over the organization of meals for students living in dormitories with the reimbursement at the expense of own funds of the University.

The rector also gave an instruction to provide all international students who have no possibility for remote education with necessary computer equipment.

Teachers and employees involved in scientific work of continuous cycle will continue it with observance of all sanitary and epidemiological norms.
