Vladimir Litvinenko, Rector of Empress Catherine II Saint Petersburg Mining University, signed an order to resume reimbursement payments for meals in the university's canteens and cafeterias. All full-time employees, starting from January 15, will be reimbursed for lunches or breakfasts in the amount of 210 rubles daily.
Thus, in case of regular visits to public catering enterprises, regardless of the training center in which they are located, employees of the oldest higher technical educational institution of Russia can expect a refund of 4 to 5 thousand rubles monthly.
The program expires on June 30 and is aimed at improving the level of social protection of Gorny's faculty and staff. The benefit will be available to 2,687 people, including 332 graduate students.
The payments will be made on the basis of personal applications, centrally submitted to the Labor and Wages Department. The total amount of subsidies to be allocated from the university's own funds for five and a half months will exceed 73 million 290 thousand rubles.
