Responsibilities:
- Conducting complex blasting operations underground and in open pits: when deepening and sinking shafts, inclined and ascending workings, in transport and hydraulic tunnels, during construction of hydroelectric power plant (HPP) facilities, underground special-purpose structures, in fighting forest fires. Installing detonating systems, charging and firing boreholes when doing large-scale blasts. Carrying out blasting work whilst near various constructions, in layers with an open face of above 3 m in height, over mining in vein-type deposits with charging done from scaffolds secured onto timbers. Blasting of dispersed charges in rock material and non-rocky soils to form excavation pits for contact-line support structures; chamber, borehole, and sprung-hole loading and blasting. Charging and blasting of boreholes, rooms, pressure charges in series by ignition and electric cap-and-fuse firing using electric detonators and detonating cord in the presence of support, equipment, machinery, communications. Checking up on ventilation, timbering, leaks from screens, slabs, scaffolds. Conducting blasting operations using pre-split techniques. Setting up electric-firing and backup circuits with a combined charging system. Determination of a danger zone by seismic effects, fly-rock, and shockwave. Explosives processing at the mechanised facility. Mechanical loading of boreholes, chambers by charge and charge-delivery machines; operating and maintaining them.

- Participating in works on cementing casing strings of a well, drilling rig, when drilling cement plugs, equipping wellheads
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in production & exploration drilling in a similar position
- Completed secondary vocational/secondary technical/higher education
- Proof of competencies: first assistant to production & exploration driller, grade 6; oil, gas & water shows; sling operator, grade 4
