On Thursday, November 24, a delegation from Acron (Veliky Novgorod) paid a working visit to St. Petersburg Mining University. The guests made a presentation of the holding company and talked about innovative solutions enabling a full cycle of fertilizer development and sales as well as career prospects for students in case of their future employment at the Group's enterprises.

At the meeting, Acron representatives noted that the company provides ample opportunities for young specialists to develop their careers. In particular, students have the opportunity to get an introductory internship without employment or to apply for an internship with a subsequent invitation to work in core, rare and scarce specialties. In addition, employees of the company discussed with the students examples of motivating factors that contribute to the decision to find a job at a particular production facility.

"Young specialists should have clear criteria by which they choose an employer. Undoubtedly, it is salary and social package, opportunities for training and career advancement, impression of the manager and colleagues. However, all other things being equal, you should analyze what projects you will be able to implement and write in your portfolio when you come to the company," said Inessa Polikarpova, head of recruitment and adaptation at Acron.

In order for students to better understand their career prospects, during two days representatives of the company will hold meetings on specific departments, in which the guys will be able to discuss in more detail their questions of interest with a potential employer.

Representatives of many domestic corporations hold such meetings at the Mining University on a regular basis. Among those who form their talent pool by attracting the most talented and promising students of the university are such flagships of the national mining and oil and gas industry as PhosAgro, Rosneft, Tatneft, Novatek, Norilsk Nickel, and many others. The policy of the university management is that ideally every graduate, receiving his/her diploma of higher education, already knows the place of his/her future employment.
