Baryte is a mineral that belongs to sulphates, it has a granular structure and perfect cleavage. From Greek the mineral’s name is usually translated as “heavy”, and that is hardly surprising – this stone’s relative weight can be easily felt if one would take it into the hand.

According to survey results, more than 60% of Germany’s population stands for lifting sanctions against our country. One big reason for it is job cuts, as over 60,000 people were fired in those companies, who were mainly oriented on partnering with Russia.

It is essential to recreate specialist’s degree programmes at the universities so as to prepare and train new engineers. Massive improvements in the quality of education are required so that new graduates would be able to master complex engineering challenges, if we want to develop main sectors of our local economy and want to move from standardized technologies to newer innovative and technology-intensive ones.

Bwana Mulenga is a person of extraordinary popularity in the presidential republic of Uganda. Almost 60,000 Russian students are currently studying abroad, most notably in EU countries. One notable example is Germany, as 5% of its total 355,000 foreign students are our fellow citizens. China and India are the only countries to provide more students to Germany than our country. The reasons for such a popularity of studying abroad are more than obvious – a degree received from European university is a potential new start in life, not to mention that there is a common belief that education quality in the foreign countries is substantially higher than in our universities.

First fourteen students arrived at Saint-Petersburg from AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Poland. Its representatives plan to enhance their skills and broaden the knowledge of contemporary drilling technologies as well as oil & gas transportation and storage.
